  2.  Baking powder: 1tsp
  3.  Salt: a pinch

  5.  Vanilla: 1/2 tsp
  6.  Warm water: 1 1/3 cups

  3. Whisk them together
  4. Add brown sugar and whisk again. (No lumps should be seen).  
  5. Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients and then add water, butter, eggs, dates paste, and vanilla, mixing to combine after each addition. 
  6. The batter will be thick as a cake-like batter. 
  7. Now add the shredded chocolate chunks and fold them. 
  8. Transfer to a cake baking tin.

  11. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Take out when the cake is ready.
